On an island in the sun...

Je me suis éclaté aujourd'hui!
I had a great day today!

Je suis d'abord allé me balader sur la plage avec Alain, mon hôte franco-canadien, qui m'a montré ce désert blanc. Il faisait très beau mais qu'est-ce qu'on s'les gelait (au moins du -20°C).
First I went to the beach for a walk with Alain, my French-Canadian host, who showed me this white desert. Very sunny but very cold (like at least -20°C).

Puis Nathalie, sa compagne, m'a conduit jusque dans la forêt faire du ski de fond. J'avais oublié comme c'était balaise...
Then Nathalie, his partner, brought me into the forest and we went cross-country skiing: I forgot how difficult it was...

Nous avons ensuite acheté quelques souvenirs dans une petite boutique amer-indienne et avons visité le centre culturel des Premières Nations de cette partie de l'île: très intéressant.
After that, we bought some souvenirs in an Indian-American shop and visited the cultural centre of the Native First Nation of this part of the island: very interesting.

J'ai mangé un très bon chilly au dîner, et on a enchaîné avec un film chez une voisine, et on s'est terminé au scotch en écoutant de la musique.

I had a great chilly for diner, then we all went watching a film at a neighbour's, and finally we drank scotch while listening to music.
