The 25th Hour

Ca y est, je pars pour New York dans un peu plus d'une heure, il faut que je marche 20 min de l'auberge à la gare, et ce sera ensuite 11H de trajet. J'aurais pu voyager de nuit en bus, ce qui m'aurait fait gagner du temps et une nuit d'auberge, mais le prix du billet de train est moins élevé de toute façon, c'est plus confortable et les douaniers sont parait-il plus sympathiques dans le train. En plus, on m'a dit que c'était un bon moyen de découvrir le pays puisqu'on découvre de beaux paysages.

NY me voilà!!! Voici un peu l'idée que je m'en fais... Extrait du film La 25ème Heure (ou 24 Heures avant la Nuit), réalisé par Spike Lee, avec Edward Norton dans le rôle principal. L'une des plus grandes scènes du cinéma américain des années 2000 à mon humble avis. Je pourrais la regarder 3 millions de fois, et j'aurais toujours le frisson. VF:



That's it, I'm going to New York City in about an hour. It's 20 minutes walk from the hostel to the train station, and then an 11 hour trip.
I could have chose the bus, for it would have saved me time and a night at the hostel, but I can't be arsed with these american customs on the road and the train ticket is very cheap compared to the bus ticket. Plus it's a great trip, much more comfortable, during which you see great landscapes they say...
