In the streets of Philadelphia...

Il pleut à Philadelphie aujourd'hui...
C'est bien dommage, car je reste coincé dans le dortoire de l'auberge même si y a des gens super sympa ici et une excellente ambiance. De toute façon, j'ai plein de trucs à faire: blogger, faire ma lessive, acheter mon ticket de bus pour Washington, écrire et envoyer des cartes postales.
J'ai débarqué à Philly hier à 13H, j'ai juste posé mes affaires à côté de mon lit à l'auberge et je suis sorti direct visiter la ville pendant qu'il y avait du soleil.
Excellent comme ville: j'ai vu pas mal de films comme le 6ème Sens, Incassable, Philadelphia et Rocky qui présentaient Philadelphie, et je ne suis pas déçu du tout. J'ai donc parcouru le quartier historique, South Street, Washington park, j'ai vu le superbe hôtel de ville et beaucoup de musées et de monuments le long de Benjamin Franklin Parkway (genre les Champs de Philadelphie): très beau! Je suis également super dosé d'avoir enfin vu les fameuses "marches de Rocky" (la scène où il court dans Rocky II) et la fameuse statue de Rocky III, ce qui semblent être les principales attractions en ville.
Ville pleine de charme, et beaucoup plus calme et beaucoup plus petite que New York, ce qui n'est pas si mal dans un sens.
Washington DC demain. J'espère qu'il fera beau...

It's raining in Philadephia today... too bad I can't go out even if there are nice people and a great atmosphere at the hostel. I've got a lot to do anyway: blogging, doing my laundry, buying my bus ticket to go to Washington, writing and sending postcards.
I arrived in Philly yesterday at 1pm. I just put my stuff next to my bed at the hostel and I went out to visit the city while it was sunny.
Great city Philadelphia: I saw a lot in some movies like the 6th sense, Unbreakable, Philadelphia, Rocky. So I walked in the Historic District,along South Street, in Washington Park, I saw the great City Hall and a lot of museums and monuments along the Benjamin Franklin Parkway (Philadelphia's Champs Elysées): beautiful! And I am so glad I finally saw the "Rocky steps" (running scene in Rocky II) and his statue (Rocky III) which seem to be the first touristic attractions in the city.
But it's a nice place, very calm and very small compared to New York, but it's cool in a way.
Washington DC tomorrow... I hope the weather will be fine again...
