Detroit Red Wings vs Ottawa Senators

Super match hier soir: 7-5 pour les Red Wings! Pas mal pour un premier match de NHL, nan?
L'enceinte était énorme mais la patinoire m'avait l'air si petite car j'étais carrément assis au tout 1er rang! Ca va...
J'étais tout de même un peu déçu par l'ambiance (on entendait presque plus les fans des Red Wings) mais ça reste un show à l'américaine, donc beaucoup de musique et d'animations, il n'y a pas de temps mort.
Ce qui m'a le plus impressionné est le bruit qu'on ne peut entendre à la télé: le bruit des patins qui frottent la glace, la crosse qui ripe contre le plexi, les mecs qui se mettent des tampons contre les vitres, et ça juste devant mes yeux! Waouh!

The arena was so huge but the ice rink looked so small when I stood just in front of the glass, 'cause I was actually sitting in the first row during the game! How cool is that?
I was a bit disappointed by the ambiance though (we could hear the Red Wings fans very clearly), even if it's still an American show: music and fun all the time, boredom does not exist.
What amazed me the most was the noise you can't hear when watching a game on TV: the noise of the skates scraping the ice, the noise of the stick against the glass and the noise of the guys hitting each other on the pane. Wow!
Next hockey game on Saturday!
